Roasting Guide Map

Roasting tutorials follow the working order: confirm inputs on the preparation page, finish manual roasts, turn good records into reusable profiles, then use auto replay and automation to reduce repeated operations.

For a first roast, start with First Roast Guide.

  1. Prepare Roasting: choose bean, batch size, environment data, reference profile, and roast mode.
  2. Manual Roasting: read the live curve, adjust controls, and mark key events.
  3. Roast Profiles: turn successful records into reusable reference curves or replay scripts.
  4. Auto Replay Roasting: replay recorded controls or follow a PID bean-temperature target.
  5. Control Replay Trigger: decide whether control actions trigger by time or by time plus temperature.
  6. Automation Rules: run reminders, event tags, or control actions during manual roasting.
  7. RoR Smoothing: tune RoR stability and responsiveness.
